Cardio Cath Care/Pre Post Op RN

The registered nurse is a professional caregiver who specializes in assisting with Pre and Post Care of Patients of invasive cardiac procedure and other procedure performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility/ accountability for administering and supervising chemical and nonchemical stress test within the physicians area.
The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility/accountability for patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the nursing process, environment, instrumentation, and other health care team members.
Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within.
Provides quality patient care in accordance with MVRMC policies and procedures and established patient care standards and practice.
Education:
Required:
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
Experience:
EKG interpterion Preferred:
At least two years RN experience ICU PACU or Cath Care Licenses/Certificates:
Required:
Current licensure in professional nursing from the New Mexico State Board of Nursing or compact RN license Required:
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Required:
